An evidence-based framework for monitoring the SDG 2 at local, state, and National levels is in place, and the promotion of sustainable community-based malnutrition management is ensured.
The capacity of community-based institutions in 140 villages in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar to monitor and evaluate national food security programs is strengthened.
13,896 children, 8,336 adolescent girls and 4,803 pregnant and breast-feeding mothers in 140 target villages of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh get improved access to state health, nutrition and care services.
7,500 households in 140 communities in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh are able to produce various and sufficient food and can overcome dependence on external food supplies.
A monitoring mechanism for food security will be discussed at the federal level in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar as well as at the national level. A lobbying strategy for the community-based monitoring mechanism will be in place.
