Civil society organizations play a major role in India. Given the situation in the country, along with the government, it is important for the civil society organizations too to work on the ground. Social sector is expanding rapidly and has already become the third biggest sector in the world. So, the more it gets organized, the better it will be able to perform. But the issue is that there is a big section in the social sector that requires to organize and improve its work. Vikas Samvad is linked to several advisory and training programmes for the institutional development of the small and medium level organizations. Vikas Samvad is helping these organizations in institutional development processes and to develop their communication policy so that their good work gets a voice and they can progress rapidly. The effort is to bring about the changes from within the organizations and not from any outside source.
